GUIDE 1 OF 6

Getting started with SEO Signals

SEO Signals reads your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 data and shows up to three recommended SEO fixes. This guide takes you from first visit to your first priorities.

Updated

1. Try the demo (optional)

Choose “Try the demo” on the homepage to explore a sample dashboard for a fictional bakery. It needs no account and uses sample data only.

2. Sign in

Sign in with Google, or create an account with your email address. Signing in with Google uses only your name, email address and Google account identifier.

3. Connect your Google data

  1. Use the Google account that can see your website in Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
  2. Allow read-only access when Google asks. SEO Signals cannot change your site or your Google settings.
  3. Your verified Search Console properties appear in the dashboard.

4. Choose your site and period

Pick a site from the dashboard. If its Analytics property isn’t matched automatically, choose it with the GA4 property picker. Switch between the last 7, 28 or 90 days at any time.

5. Read your priorities

You’ll see up to three priorities, each with the query or page and the numbers behind it. A new site may show “Still gathering data” until Google has at least seven days of data.
