GUIDE 5 OF 6

Tracking fixes and exporting reports

SEO Signals doesn’t change your website. You make the change, and SEO Signals helps you keep track of it.

Updated

Track a fix

  1. On a priority, choose “Track this fix”.
  2. SEO Signals records a baseline of the site’s numbers that day: clicks, impressions, CTR, users and conversions.
  3. Make the change on your website, or pass it to whoever manages it.
  4. When it’s done, choose “Mark done”. SEO Signals records the numbers again so you can compare. Completion records your work, not a verified improvement.

Reading the comparison

Search results change for many reasons, including seasonality and Google updates. A change in the numbers after a fix is useful context, not proof that the fix caused it. Give changes a few weeks before judging them.

Export a report

Reports in the dashboard can be downloaded as Markdown or opened as a printable view to save as PDF. Exports include the site, the period and the data source, and are generated in your browser.
